PRIZES AND AWARDS

A Trophy will be awarded to all 1st place routines in all divisions with medals going
to Solo and Duet/Trio participants. Ribbons will be awarded to all Group participants
for each placement.

Encore DCS Gift Certificates will be given to Overall Top Soloists & Duet/Trios.
Cash awards will be given to Overall Top Groups and Highest Score of the Day winners.
A minimum of 5 entries per age group/division is required in order to receive cash|
awards. Gift Certificates* and Cash awards are awarded in the Competitive Division only.

An Overall Top 5 placement will be recognized in each division with an Overall Trophy and
placement pins going to1st Overall. Placement pins will be awarded to the remaining overall
placements. There must be at least 8 or more entries in an age group/division in order to
recognize the Top 5 placements. Otherwise, a Top 3 or just an Overall will be announced.

Additional awards are given for Top Choreography, Most Entertaining,
Encore Super Soloists, Grand Finals' Workshop Scholarships, and Spirit of Encore.

at every Finals:

Top Super Soloist - $100 Cash, two column large trophy, Encore pin and Super Solo Jacket
            2nd Place - $50 Gift Certificate and Encore Pin

At Encore DCS, we feel that EVERYONE should be recognized for their achievement in performing on stage. We also believe in the true spirit of competition by only recognizing one first place in each category. If someone competes in a category without competition, they must earn a minimum score to receive 1st Place. Otherwise, they will be recognized with a 2nd Place. The following is an explanation of the scoring system used at our Regional Events based on a 100 Point Scale by a panel of 3 judges. (NOTE: At our Grand Finals, entries will be critiqued by 4 judges and the lowest score will be dropped)
