2024 Regional Awards
At Encore DCS, we feel that EVERYONE should be recognized for their achievement in performing on stage.
We also believe in the true spirit of competition by only recognizing one first place in each category. In addition to recognizing 1st-5th place winners, each routine will receive an Encore DCS Pin recognizing their Gold, High Gold, Platinum, or Diamond Performance! If there are 10 or more in a particular category, the category will be broken down into smaller age brackets based on each dancer’s birthdate. Elite routines with a near perfect score are eligible to receive our prestigious “Mic Drop” award.
The following is an explanation of the scoring system used at our Regional Events based on a 100 Point Scale by a panel of 3 judges.

Regional Overall Awards, Scholarships, And Cash Awards
| The following awards are given in Recreational, Competitive, Elite and Pro Am and in all age divisions. Overall, Top 3, 5, 8, 10, 15 or 20 will be recognized in each division based on the number of entries. Vocal and Song & Dance entries will be excluded from the regular Overall awards and Title Competition, but will be recognized in the Top Vocal Performance Overalls. | |

| Top Studio Award: | Large Champion Cup Trophy and Gift Certificate for Grand Finals *At every Regional competition each studio's Top 5 group scores in age 11 and under and Top 5 Group scores in age 12 and over will be tabulated. The studio with the highest combined score will be awarded the Top Studio Award and will be presented a champion trophy and a gift certificate that can be redeemed at Nationals. ($500 Gift Certificate for competitions with 250 or less entries; $750 gift certificate for competitions with 251-450 entries; $1000 gift certificate for competitions with 451 or more entries) |
| Gift certificates and cash awards are given to top solos, top duet/trio top group, and the highest scoring routines in the recreational, competitive and elite levels. Cash awards are based on the size of the competition and require a minimum of 5 entries per age/group division. All cash awards are made payable to the studio and mailed within three weeks. | |
