Meet the 2024 Cover Models
Kaylee Schwamb was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia. She began attending Encore Dance Competition when she was five years old. Kaylee has received the honor of being Miss Petite and Miss Junior Encore Extreme during her many years of attending Encore Extreme. She was also crowned Miss Junior Encore at Nationals in 2020 and 2022, as well as being selected for the Encore Dream Team three times. Kaylee is also beginning her fourth year as a brand ambassador for the dancewear company, Tiger Friday. Kaylee is in the 8th grade and attends public school in Evans, Georgia and is currently studying dance in Columbia, South Carolina at Columbia City Jazz Conservatory. She hopes to pursue a career as a professional dancer and choreographer, and currently spends most of her weekends traveling to conventions and intensives to study with the top choreographers in the country.
She is very excited and honored to be representing Encore DCS this season as their 2024 Cover Model.
Makaehla caught the attention of the judges at Encore DCS 2023 Grand Finals and was selected as one of the 2024 Cover Models. She is very excited to be this year's Cover Model! Makaehla is a competitive dancer at PBR Dance, in Altoona, PA! She is taking on the lead role of the Dew Drop Fairy in this year's production of the Nutcracker. She is in 9th grade at Bishop Guilfoyle High School where she takes part in school programs such as bible study, math club, the celebration committee, and the blood drive. Makaehla loves to express her creativity not just through dance, but through art, painting, and decorating. Her confidence, determination, poise, hard work, kindness, and intelligence shine through in all facets of her life. When she isn’t dancing she is enjoying her time with her 2 younger sisters and 1 younger brother. Makaehla loves exploring every new opportunity the dance world brings her and truly enjoys making connections through dance. She is grateful to be part of the EncoreDCS family!
